Resources on the Road
Resources on the Road will expand outreach efforts and better meet the demands of early childhood professionals and families in the 4-C service delivery area. Expanding on the 4-C Resource Room, the project will enable caregivers to check out age-appropriate and educational items relevant to early childhood at locations convenient to them.
Goals of the project include:
- Helping child care professionals and families find early childhood resources
- Increasing participation in math and science activities for children; and
- Increasing the amount of time caregivers spend reading to and playing with children in their care.
The program is being piloted in 2017 in select locations; please refer to the 4-C Event Calendar for upcoming locations.
Resources on the Road is currently being funded by the Madison Community Foundation, Alliant Energy Foundation, United Way of Dane County, Wegner LLP and other additional funders.
