A continuing education course for Early Care and Education Professionals

This course meets the introductory non-credit course requirements for Wisconsin state licensing.

You will need to take or have taken the following courses and provide proof of attendance by submitting certificates of participation to receive credit:

  • Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) or have previously attended Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) training
  • Online Mandated Reporter training
  • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Reduction (SIDS) training

Continuing Education:  44 hours
Thank you for choosing 4-C to serve your education needs. To receive credit for this course, you will need to do the following:

  • Read all 13 sections including articles, online content, or other materials.
  • Complete the assignments and submit the course evaluation all at the same time.

After you have completed requirements mail or e-mail the following documents:

  • Assignments
  • Evaluation
  • Copies of any certificates requested in assignments

When we receive these documents, we will review the assignment for satisfactory completion. If met, we will enter the training into the Registry and return your assignments with a certificate of completion. You can expect the certificate within one month of 4-C receiving your materials.

Please note that only the paid registrant may return the completed assignment. You will have one year from the date the training was purchased to complete this course.

There are 13 learning plans within the Introduction to the Child Care Profession coursework. In each of the learning plans you will find the written course, which is where you should begin. You will also find a word document for each learning plan which includes all of the assignments that must be completed in that section. The words documents can be emailed or mailed to 4-C once all 13 sections have been completed.
