Reimbursement Rates

Tiering Information for the Child & Adult Care Food Program
(effective 7/1/07 – 6/30/08)
    Tier I
      Breakfast $1.11
      Lunch/Dinner $2.06
      Snacks $.61
    Tier II
      Breakfast $.41
      Lunch/Dinner $1.24
      Snacks $.17
You qualify for Tier I rates if you live in a public elementary school area where 50% of the children are eligible for free or reduced lunch. This qualifies you to claim your own children on the CACFP.

OR


If you live in a census tract area where 50% of the households meet income guidelines.

OR



If your own household income is within established income guidelines: If your monthly income is at or below:
Household of 1 - $1,575
Household of 2 - 2,111
Household of 3 - 2,648
Household of 4 - 3,184
Household of 5 - 3,721
Household of 6 - 4,257
Household of 7 - 4,794
Household of 8 - 5,330
For each additional household member add $537

OR


If you don’t meet any of the above requirements, you could be reimbursed Tier I rates for some or all of the children in your care if their household meets the income guidelines.

If none of the above applies to you, you will receive Tier II rates.
